April is one of the best times of the year to be in Washington, DC as the city comes to life with the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival. Each year, DC celebrates the gift of the cherry blossom trees and the enduring friendship between the people of the United States and Japan through a series of events featuring diverse and creative programming promoting traditional and contemporary arts and culture, natural beauty and community spirit.
Wrap up your conference experience by joining us on a walking tour of some of Washington, DC’s most iconic symbols of history and nature. We’ll leave from the Washington Marriott Metro Center lobby at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 7th and walk along the banks of the Potomac River where the cherry blossom trees will be in full bloom.
